Rob Jarvis, Plumbing and Heating Engineer (Director)
Rob has 18 years experience in the industry in both commercial and domestic plumbing and heating. After completing an apprenticeship in London, Rob moved to Sussex and worked on larger commercial projects carrying out installation work. He then obtained gas qualifications and Corgi registration and set up Rob Jarvis Plumbing and heating LTD which he was Director of for 8 Years until deciding to set up Abacus Flame With Noel McNeill. Rob has an extensive knowledge in boiler breakdown repair and installation. Rob is a fully qualified Gas Safe Engineer
Noel McNiell Plumbing and Heating Engineer (Director)
Noel has 12 years experience in the industry and also has a military background. After spending 5 years in the Army Noel settled in Gloucester where he was trained by a British Gas Technician in all aspects of domestic heating and plumbing. Noel returned to Eastbourne in 2004 and formed Universal heating, which he ran as a sole trader for 6 years until deciding to set up Abacus Flame with Rob Jarvis. Noel Has an extensive knowledge in the installation and repair of all gas appliances that run on LPG or natural gas. Noel is a fully Qualified Gas Safe Engineer.
Caroline McNeill, Secretary
Caroline is Noel`s wife and our company secretary. Her previous jobs include running her own business and working as a secratary for an Eastbourne based Estate Agents for three years.
Dan Davis, Plumbing Maintenance and Installations Engineer
Dan is a qualified plumber and has over 9 years experience in the trade. Dan installs our bathrooms and mobility wet rooms and is skilled in general building as well as plumbing. Dan moved back to Eastbourne 8 years ago to persue he's career in plumbing and has built up an extensive knowledge in all aspects of plumbing installation and maintenance.
Zak McGee, Apprentice Heating Engineer
Zak is a fully qualified plumber and is training to complete his gas at the moment. He should be fully qualified within 12 months and already has an extensive knowledge of heating system repair and maintenance. He is already qualified to fit unvented systems and has excellent customer service skills.
